Thank you very much for the invitation to the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection!
Innovative companies were given the opportunity to present their solutions at the launch of the #KOINNOvationsplatz in the Ministry's venerable Oak Hall. The aim is to give start-ups and innovative small companies like us the opportunity to present their products, solutions and services for the public sector.
Our forward-looking solutions in the areas of Smart City, self-sufficient power supplies and our custom-built QFire fire department switch for switching off photovoltaic systems are absolutely future-oriented.
About KOINNO
The aim of the competence center is to permanently strengthen the innovation orientation of public procurement in Germany and to increase the share of innovation procurement in the total volume of public procurement in Germany.
What exactly does the KOINNOvationsplatz offer?
The aim of the KOINNOvationsplatz is, on the one hand, to enable public sector applicants to carry out a simple, well-founded market investigation in compliance with public procurement law. The public administration can use so-called "challenges" to address its procurement-related challenges and invite companies to submit ideas for solutions.
On the other hand, providers can get an idea of the needs and associated requirements of their potential customers in the course of the challenges. The marketplace also gives them a free opportunity to present their solutions to the target group. "This process is not a call for tenders at the end of which a contract is awarded. Rather, it is an opportunity for buyers and suppliers to make contact, get to know each other's needs and solutions and thus get a better idea of the market," says KOINNO manager Matthias Berg.
In addition to the challenges, the KOINNOvationsplatz offers suppliers the opportunity to present their innovative solutions at the "Marketplace of Innovations" and have them tested for their suitability for public administration procurement. Public clients can use the presentations to contact the companies for a further exchange or invite them to submit an offer for an ongoing or planned tender.
