Rely on a hybrid system with UPS!
The integrated hybrid inverter enables an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and automatic mains backup operation throughout the house. Conventional PV systems, on the other hand, switch off in the event of a grid failure. With suitable systems, less energy is lost due to the direct coupling of the PV modules with the battery, the battery can even be recharged in the event of a power failure and the supply is ensured over a longer period of time.
In hybrid mode, the battery can also simultaneously absorb and store electricity from other generation systems, such as an existing PV system. This makes hybrid systems from Alpha ESS real all-rounders and ensures a high degree of flexibility.

Why lithium iron phosphate batteries?
Alpha ESS only uses lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) due to their high level of safety and long service life. LiFePO4 cells are intrinsically safe and have no memory effect. They are characterized in particular by their high cycle stability, high efficiency and high charging currents. In addition, LiFePO4 batteries are particularly environmentally friendly among lithium batteries because they do not use any heavy metals such as cobalt or lead.
