About the Battery Act
The German Battery Act (BattG) regulates the placing on the market, taking back and environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and accumulators.
Commitment Q3 ENERGIE GmbH & Co KG
We are committed to fulfilling and complying with the requirements of the BattG.
Accordingly, the long-term storage systems we offer are registered with the take-back system for waste portable batteries GRS Batterien "Stiftung Gemeinsames Rücknahmesystem Batterien".
Our user contract number at GRS is 20021805.
We are registered with the Federal Environment Agency (No. 21009539).
Consumers should note the following:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with the residual waste. Consumers are therefore legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or health if not disposed of properly. Batteries and rechargeable batteries also contain important raw materials (e.g. iron, zinc, manganese, cobalt, nickel, graphite, copper, aluminum, lithium) and are reused.
Used batteries and rechargeable batteries must be handed in at so-called recycling centers or collection points of the GRS (Stiftung Gemeinsames Rücknahmesystem Batterien). Of course, used batteries can also be handed in directly to Q3 in Kaufbeuren.
