The Super Multi Box is an intelligent DC combiner box designed for large-scale photovoltaic systems and solar parks. It combines several essential functions in a single compact unit: individual string monitoring, an integrated fireman’s switch, state-of-the-art communication interfaces – and a technological innovation being unveiled for the first time at Intersolar.
Systematic fault discrimination
At the heart of the Super Multi Box lies the PV String Fault Discriminator. In the event of a fault – such as insulation failure or arc detection – all strings in the box are initially disconnected. The system then automatically reconnects each string one by one until the faulty string is identified. This defective string is then permanently isolated, allowing the remaining strings to continue operation.
The result: no complete system failure, no days of fault tracing in the field.

Stringboxen und Generatoranschlusskasten von Q3
Unsere Generatoranschlusskasten sorgen für ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit schon bei der Installation und gewährleisten eine saubere und übersichtliche Verdrahtung (Verstringung) von PV-Modulen auf dem Dach oder im Freifeld. Oft müssen mehrere Strings parallel verschalten werden, um bei vernünftigen Systemspannungen eine geeignete Leistung hin zum Wechselrichter zu transportieren. Die einzelnen Strings werden direkt bei den Modulen in der Stringbox verschalten und mit lediglich zwei Leitungen (Plus und Minus) mit dem Wechselrichtereingang verbunden. Jeder Generatoranschlusskasten enthält standardmäßig ein Druckausgleichselement für einen effektiven Schutz gegen Kondenswasserbildung.
